Wassup! We've been semi quiet the past few weeks as we've been work our asses off. Here's a recap of what we've been up to and what to expect over the next year.

Shooting for our upcoming video for the song "Fireworks" wrapped up 2 weeks ago with renowned minneapolis director Justin Staggs (http://justinstaggs.com). Minneapolis' World Record Productions (James Harley and Jeremy Tappero) remixed "Fireworks" as well as 2 other ST tunes to be included in the Fireworks video digital release (the sound sick as shit, those boys are genius) due out later this summer. Stay tune for a release date!
We will be going back into the studio with In The Groove and our trusty sidekick Drew Lerdal in about a month or so to start recording a few tunes for mini release due out this fall. Soon after that release we'll begin working on a follow up to MN4TBH due out spring 2011.

Standard Thompson is one of 12 contestants in the Cities 97 Basicalla Block Party - Battle of the Bands where the winner gets to play the block party this year. The first round for us is at Halftime Rec on June 16th at 9:45pm (http://www.standardthompson.com/shows) and we need to get as many of you out there that night to vote for us. The band with the most votes moves to round 2. Hope to see you there!

We stoked! The CD release party is finally booked and it's going to kill. We're sharing the CD release night with our good friends (and mortal enemies) Not Like This who will be releasing their brand new, very first record the same night.
Also playing that night is our other very good friends ReadyGoes as well as Cannon Chorus.
Friday, May 14th, 8PM. $5 Fine Line Music Cafe
