Man It's Getting Hot In Here!

It's been a while since my last bloggin's. I just wanted to give a quick thanks to everyone that's been so supportive and enthusiastic over the past year while we've been recording More Noise For The Broken Hearted. It's been a great learning experience, and I have to say it's been a lot of fun. I think we've only played three or four shows while we've been in the studio. It was a major change of pace compared to the last few years of what seemed like endless rehearsals for shows, on the road or near home. I'm proud of the hard work all of us have put into it! We've been practicing for the past week or so and we sound like we haven't skipped a beat. I can't wait to get out there and play live again! I love seeing all of your smiling faces, singing, dancing, and having a great time. We miss you and can't wait to see you all real soon!

Been a little stressed lately. I don't know how to explain what's going through my mind. My old man is very ill, not doing well at all. I live in a small town far away from my band and my friends, my girlfriend got a job teaching in another town, and she's moving. Little bummed. On a lighter note, these feelings are helping me write a song or two. Not sure if they're up to ST standards or not, but when it comes you have to go with it or you lose it.
That's all I got.

The moon was almost hidden. The stars were just pretending to hide.

I tried to watch the meteor shower tonight. I saw probably 10 "shooting stars". The moon was too bright, and there was too much light pollution to see anything but the bigguns'. Maybe next year ey? Now I'm at home listening to records, watching the food network with the volume down, and blogging.. I GF is up in Coon Rapids sitting on her baby nephew, and I just realized that I have no friends in Albert Lea anymore. Everyone's either moved away or busy with their lives. The Summer is almost over, and I don't know whether or not to be excited about it or not. I like playing shows in the Fall for all of the college kids back in the TC, and hoodies are awesome! Especially hoodies from American Apparel. I'll have to pick up one or two new ones for the season.

Peace.

Deep fried Twinkies.

Went to the Freeborn County Fair tonight. I saw Travis Tritt play. He actually kicked ass! It was tough crowed though. Maybe because it was so hot. That's all....
