To me it can't get much better than writing songs and getting ready to hit the studio. One of my favorite things about the music "business" is the creative process. Late last Thursday night, Aaron, Dan, and myself had one of those magical nights where everything we tried to do musically was working. A bridge became a chorus, a different chorus got put aside for later, a single note change transformed the entire feel of a song, it was just clicking! We keep going on and on about this new record we're working on, there's a reason for it. We have hope that people will love these songs as much as we do. Our sound is maturing and changing. It's like puberty, but the cool parts of puberty, not the Peter Brady style voice cracks and the embarassing and untimely boner parts of puberty! We crank away at this stuff, it gets stuck in my head, and stays there for days. I love it. If you're not down with catchy, contagious style melodies and choruses, please, don't buy it. Hell, don't even it sample it on my space. You wont get the songs out of your head and you will be pissed at us! Anyway, we can't wait for you to hear this stuff and hope it catches on like Michael Jackson's Thriller, or Frampton Comes Alive, (did he ever do a studio album?)
